The mission hasn’t changed. The church has. Believers need to recapture the biblical teaching on missions.

Shortly before his passing, Pastor John MacArthur issued a warning about the current state of Christian missions: “I’m deeply concerned about the condition of Christian missions today. The global church is overrun with activities and programs that really do not further the Great Commission.”

Dr. MacArthur calls the church back to God's design for missions, that believers might fulfill their purpose in the world. “It’s not about pragmatic methods or stylish trends. We have to understand and implement the Word of God.”
