Myanmar: Rediscovering Sound Theology – Part 2
In Myanmar (modern day Burma), many pastors lead congregations with limited access to theological training and biblical resources. The church in Myanmar is growing. But lasting fruit requires strong biblical roots.
Burmese pastors preach week after week. They shepherd people through real hardship. But few have received formal instruction, and many serve with little more than a Bible and whatever tools they have been able to piece together on their own.
This documentary introduces the work of the Expository Preaching and Teaching Society (EPTS) in Yangon, highlighting both the opportunities and challenges facing the church in Myanmar. Many believers are growing in their understanding of Scripture, but false teaching, prosperity theology, and cultural pressures continue to present serious challenges.
