Faithfulness to God’s Word in Missions

What should define faithful missions?

In this conversation, Dr. Mark Tatlock, President of The Master’s Academy International, sits down with Dr. Abner Chou, President of The Master’s University and Seminary, to discuss why God’s Word must remain central to the mission of the church. They address the growing emphasis on methodology, innovation, cultural accommodation, and measurable results, and how these priorities can gradually lead ministries away from the mission Christ has given His church.

Drawing from Scripture, Dr. Chou considers how theological drift happens and why missionaries, churches, and ministry leaders must remain anchored to the authority and sufficiency of God’s Word. Faithfulness means allowing Scripture to define the mission, shape the message, and guide how ministry is carried out among every nation, tribe, and tongue.
